Nord & Vale started with a simple frustration: most "home decor" online is either mass-produced and forgettable, or beautiful and priced like art you'll never actually put a coffee cup on. We wanted a third option.
So we spend our time doing the unglamorous part — sitting with material samples, comparing glazes and weaves in person, saying no to almost everything we're shown — so that what makes it into the shop is a small, considered edit rather than an endless scroll. Every piece is listed with the materials, dimensions, and origin we actually know, because we'd rather you trust one thing we say than be impressed by ten things we didn't check.
We're a small, independent studio, not a warehouse of a thousand SKUs. If that means fewer choices, good — that's the point.
